▪ 250 ICONS LIMIT per commission, minimum is 20 icons. 15 standalone icons are free.
⤷ This means 100 icons are still 100 points, not 85!
▪ Turnaround depends on the amount of icons and how difficult they are to work with. Anything black and white and sprites tend to be faster, so within a few days should be done. Anime, games and the like might take me up to one week.
▪ Make sure the images can be downloaded as a .zip or .rar file, rather than individually.
▪ I have the right to refuse your request if I feel like I'm unable to work with the images provided and won't deliver a quality product.
▪ If you'd like your commission to be private, you're free to PM me your request.

WHAT IF I HAVE 16/17/18/19 CAPS I WANT ICONED?
It's free! 👍 In reality, anything up to 19 icons is free, but 15 icons is all you need for a free account on Dreamwidth.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN CASE-BY-CASE BASIS FOR SCREENCAPPING?
It depends on what you want me to screencap! Should be something like this:

TRAILERS/VIDEOS (under 15min): 5 points
ANIME EPISODES/GAME CHAPTERS* (20min or more): 15 points
⤷ full playthroughs on youtube might count under movies, so it's another case-by-case basis!
MOVIES (1:30 hours or more): 30 points

For MANGA/COMICS, it's even trickier, especially if I'm unfamiliar with the series. I'll likely ask for a list of chapters and depending on the length of the chapters, something around 5 to 10 points would suffice. I'll definitely let you know!

* FOR HSR, ZZZ AND HI3: Since you can revisit past chapters in game, there's no need to link me a video! Just let me know which character you want caps of and if you have a preferred chapter you want me to focus on. It'll still be 15 points! (While I'm caught up on HSR, I have yet to catch up on HI3 Part 2 and ZZZ Season 2)!

WHAT ABOUT SORTING THROUGH CAPS?:
Generally free, but within reason! If you give me 500 caps and ask me to make only 100 icons out of them, I'll charge a fee. If you give me 500 caps and ask me to make 250 icons, I might not. As long as I don't spend more time sorting through caps than iconing them, this service is free.

MY VIDEOGAME CHARACTER LOOKS CLOSER TO LIVE ACTION, IS THAT OK?:
Yyyyyes... probably? The best answer I can give is that I can give it a try - happy to provide samples to make sure you enjoy how I icon them. You can always get 15 free icons first as a trial before you make a decision!

CAN I ASK YOU TO SCREENCAP MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER?
Probably! If they're both from the same series and are both in the same chapters/video/game chapter/movie - absolutely, and will be free. If they're both from the same series but you want me to screencap each of their character trailers for example, It'd still be 5 points each. If they're from different series, I'll have to decline. Please place a different commission if you'd like to commission another character!

but they’re looking great so far! ✌️🥹 as far as changes go: are we able to try softening the contrast just a touch? mostly to try and lighten up his clothes so that there’s less crushed darks? (the pain of being in a dark color palette while sitting in equally dark af surroundings for 90% of your total screen time…) 😭

smiles hi again. i brought more samples instead. i got started proper on your icons based on this response but then i've been thinking about the contrast issue so i wanted to see if i could play around with my usual settings to create a better consistency across the caps. it is hard due to the overall nature of genshin's lightning + how different the scenes are, so lmk how these look:




taken straight from my photoshop because this is just experimental and i was too lazy to save it + i feel like offering white/dark backgrounds make a different considering the way colors interact with white/black.

specifically the difference from these to the other ones is that the contrast is now uniform across all icons (-5) and i removed a few adjustment layers (another brightness/contrast i forgot i had, some gradient and exposure), so lmk your thoughts!! feel free to nitpick as much as you want, i just wanna make sure i can deliver something you're happy with!

i swear, color theory is so whack sometimes and it's also why i struggle with coloring genshin. but i always try to at least shoot for making the skin tones as consistent as i can across the board regardless of lighting, which is honestly the reason i start spiraling. so i can't be too nitpicky or else we'll both go nuts! (and i'd hate to make you do all of this work just for us to end up with the first set.)


magenta is the uniform contrast you just tinkered with, left is the first pass, and the right is lessened contrast.

i think the soft gradient from before helps give the values their depth, so we can add that back in! so i tried it myself on your latest batch with a simple gradient i found off ye olde deviant art and set it to overlay 60% iirc


let me know if it helps with the rest you've made so far, since i think it looks like it strikes a good balance between all of your edits! i included the full icon texture if you wanna flip it or change the colors in any way that makes sense.

okay hi again!! this reply helped me tinker with some of my settings, gradients and coloring so i tried my best with what genshin can offer me.. :') across the icons i tried to at least keep a bit of a magenta tint consistency if possible, but because of lightning and shading some are far more obvious than others (not even because of anything i did genshin is just so......... interesting.... with its own shading).

all in all, here's your icons! i tried to keep the contrast uniform across all of them unless the cap was too dark where i had to lower the contrast a little, but otherwise this is what i came up with. i saved all the different psds i used with all the adjustments for most of the different settings/lightning, so let me know if there's any batch here and there you'd like changed! also help to offer the psds if you'd like to tinker with them, tots ok with it!

total should be 247 icons, so 24 ko-fis or 247 points to this journal! sorry for the very long wait, and happy holidays if you celebrate! ❤️💚
