i swear, color theory is so whack sometimes and it's also why i struggle with coloring genshin. but i always try to at least shoot for making the skin tones as consistent as i can across the board regardless of lighting, which is honestly the reason i start spiraling. so i can't be too nitpicky or else we'll both go nuts! (and i'd hate to make you do all of this work just for us to end up with the first set.)
magenta is the uniform contrast you just tinkered with, left is the first pass, and the right is lessened contrast.
i think the soft gradient from before helps give the values their depth, so we can add that back in! so i tried it myself on your latest batch with a simple gradient i found off ye olde deviant art and set it to overlay 60% iirc
let me know if it helps with the rest you've made so far, since i think it looks like it strikes a good balance between all of your edits! i included the full icon texture if you wanna flip it or change the colors in any way that makes sense.
